Jersey Connect @ SportsFest with Bill Grant
The Lehigh Valley SportsFest is in Allentown, PA on July 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2007. Jersey Connect will be there on Sunday, the 15th at the Bill Grant Bodybuilding & Figure Classic. We will be at the event with live performances, interviews, giveaways and more. Admission is free, so mark the date and we will see you there. The Essenze of Battling What
is battling? Battling is a competition when two rymesayers use their
wordplay skills to disrespect, discuss, or out argue their opponent.
Then, the question comes up of who is the winner.
Sometimes the emcees involved judges or either one will admit to
the other that ‘you got me.’ or
if itz really personal, the loser will lash out at the winner.
The one who takes it to a physical level loses because they ‘lost
face,’ lost their selph control; their wordplay skills are
inadequate, and can not defeat the person at their own rap game.

JERSEY CONNECT WANTS YOUR MUSIC!!
The Jersey Connect Podcast is looking for up and coming New Jersey musicians to send in their hottest tracks to be featured on their monthly podcast. "It doesn't matter what type of music you do", says Shauno, one of the shows hosts. "We are featuring all types of music, from all over the state of New Jersey. Although we make hip hop music, the purpose of this show is to showcase a variety of music."
The show has featured everything from Hip Hop to Reggae and R&B to Gospel. Even though the music consists of a wide base, the vibe of mix is steady, thanks to DJ Cee Justice's experience.
Any artists interested in submitting music to the show can email the show below. Send your hottest tracks. The show currently runs monthly, so the producers will be strictly looking for the FIRE.
The man known to be behind the music of the Black M.O.B. and Jerz Ali, MDominance (aka Fatha Dom) is on a serious mission. With hundreds of beats ranging from R&B to Jazz to hard-hitting Hip Hop, MDominance has something for you to flow to. "There is a big difference between composing and just making beats, I try to put vibes together, when I'm creating", he said, eyes glued to the computer screen. He just recently completed about 5 tracks that will be featured on Non-D's upcoming CD called "Covering The Spectrum" and is putting together his CD, called "State of Fury" which will feature instrumental compositions and work with various artists.
